Female Genital Aesthetics in Istanbul

Female genital aesthetics is one of the fastest growing areas of cosmetic surgery worldwide. The reason patients give is rarely appearance alone — discomfort, irritation and self-consciousness are usually part of it, and both sides are worth taking seriously.

Two operations are offered here:

  • Labiaplasty — reduction of the labia minora
  • Genital fat transfer — restoring lost volume with your own fat

Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty reduces and reshapes the labia minora, the inner lips, where they are enlarged, elongated or noticeably asymmetric. For many patients the reason for asking is as much physical as aesthetic — irritation in fitted clothing, discomfort during exercise or cycling, or simple self-consciousness. There is no single correct shape. The aim is a natural and proportionate result rather than a standardised one, and what is appropriate for you is decided at consultation.

Genital fat transfer

Genital fat transfer restores volume and softness to the labia majora, the outer lips, using your own fat. Fat is taken from an area where it is not wanted, prepared, and placed where volume has been lost — most often after weight loss, after childbirth, or with age. Because the material is your own tissue rather than a manufactured filler, the result feels natural.

As with fat grafting anywhere on the body, part of the transferred fat is reabsorbed and the rest settles permanently. A realistic figure is given to you before the operation, not afterwards.

General FAQ’S

Once you have sent an enquiry to us, you will be contacted by one of our representatives. Your representative will provide information about the procedure that you are interested in and answer any questions you may have. Your representative will also arrange an online consultation for you with Dr. Surmeli and he/she will show your photos/videos and medical history. After Doctor’s online evaluation, he will give his advises and make an initial operation plan if the patient is suitable both physically and psychologically. And the representative will inform you about the plan, details of the operation, healing, etc. You will also be provided with details on the available dates, required accommodation duration, packages & costs, and possible extras. Once you set a date with your representative we book your appointment after you send the flight details and passport information.

For our international patients we are offering packages including hotel and transfers between airport-hotel-clinic. We accommodate our patients near hotels to our hospital to reach them easily and to avoid spending time in traffic. We currently have a 4-star and a 5-star hotel options. As we have agency collaborations with the hotels, we usually provide better quotes for our patients than the hotel does. You can get detailed information from your representatives about hotels and prices.

The patients who will arrange their own accommodation and transportation, should inform their representatives about their accommodate addresses before they arrive Istanbul. We strongly recommend those patients to arrange close accommodates to our hospital. Please note, Istanbul is bigger than you see on the map. So, please consult to your representative before arrange/book your accommodation.

We strongly recommend bringing a companion and even make obligatory in some operations. In case there is no chance to bring a companion with you, we offer private duty nursing service for our international patients. Our licensed practice nurse will assist you with basic needs such as going to the bathroom, having meals, changing clothes and dressings and will stay overnight. Please contact your representative for details and prices.

Possible Extras

  • Our package for Mommy Makeover covers up to 2 nights hospital stay. Hospital stays after 2 nights are for extra fee.
  • T3, T4, TSH Tiroid function tests are for extra fee. These tests are only required if a patient has tiroid problem.
  • Blood transfusion. In some combining body contouring procedures patient might need blood transfusion for faster mobilizing and for keeping hemogram value in appropriate levels.
  • Our package covers one pieces of all needed types of compressive garments. Additional compressive garments are for extra fee.
