    The clinic has added a Clarius L15 HD3 wireless handheld ultrasound scanner, and it is now in use during surgery. In gluteal fat transfer it confirms that the tip of the injection cannula is in the subcutaneous plane, above the muscle — an objective check on top of the rule that decides safety in this operation: fat is placed only above the gluteal muscle, never into it. That rule has not changed, and has been followed here since 2018. The scanner lets us see what was previously judged by feel. Read more →
